Organizational Consulting

Your company is growing, but the structure is lagging behind? Organizational consulting for start-ups and growing companies

Your company has grown, and so have the demands. And the structures? They're still playing catch-up. Decisions take forever, responsibilities blur together, leadership is permanently in firefighting mode. And new employees lack direction.

You want clear processes, strong collaboration, and finally more flow again – but without losing your culture?

Then let's create structures together that fit you and truly provide relief: with clear roles, good decision-making pathways, and a team that steers in the same direction.

I see this over and over again in young and growing companies. Maybe it's the same for you?

  • Nothing runs without you as the founder or CEO. You have little time to focus on strategic issues.
  • The question keeps coming up: Who's actually responsible for this?
  • Knowledge sits with individuals. What happens if they're out sick or leave?
  • The old hands miss the early days, new employees want more structure and guidance
  • You notice things can't continue this way, but at the same time you're afraid of too much structure and bureaucracy

How it could be instead

  • You have structures and processes that fit you and don't constrain you
  • Roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, there's less friction
  • Knowledge is accessible and no longer dependent on individuals, you can onboard new employees quickly
  • Leadership is relieved and has time for strategic issues and company development
  • Teams work self-organized and pull in the same direction

Hi, I'm Nina Siessegger

Portrait of Nina Siessegger

As an organizational consultant and coach with a tech background, I support start-ups and young companies in setting up their organization so that teams work independently and things move forward.

I spent many years in the tech and digital industry myself, as a developer, tech lead, and later as a consultant.

I know what growth feels like when everything becomes more at once: responsibility, coordination, complexity.

Today I help start-ups and SMEs create clarity and develop structures that support without constraining. Solutions that work in daily practice.

How I work

I listen, ask questions, and help untangle the chaos. What I bring is a well-stocked toolbox:

  • Systems thinking, to avoid just tinkering with symptoms
  • Approaches from agile working, when it comes to keeping structure flexible
  • Team Topologies, to develop meaningful team structures
  • Sociocracy 3.0 and Liberating Structures, when it comes to developing solutions together and making decisions clearly and collectively

But: I don't work according to a one-size-fits-all approach. I don't look for problems that fit my favorite model.

Instead, we look together: What fits you? What works in daily practice and what doesn't? I use the following steps as a guideline.

1. Kick-off
Focus & Shared Understanding

What's this really about and what's driving it? This phase creates clarity and helps us align on goals, expectations, and context – setting the foundation for everything that follows.

2. Discovery
Spot patterns & prioritize

I listen, observe, and ask the right questions. Together we uncover what's behind your challenges, where friction shows up, and what's blocking progress – whether structural, cultural, or process-related. We zero in on what actually matters.

3. Co-Design
Build Solutions Together

We design where it will have the biggest impact – with the right people involved. Solutions emerge collaboratively, grounded in your reality. Practical, inclusive, and pragmatic.

4. Implementation
Make Change Stick

I support the introduction – with space for reflection and adjustment. So that new structures work in everyday life.

5. Review & Next Steps
Stay Agile & Keep Learning

We look back together: What's shifted? What still needs attention? The goal isn't just implementing change, but building your capacity to handle new challenges – staying adaptive without losing focus.

My goal is solutions that really solve your problems and bring you relief in daily operations.

What fits you right now?

I offer various formats that differ in depth, scope, and objectives.

Whether you need a quick overview or structured support – let's talk and we'll figure out what the right offering and approach is for your specific problem.

Clarity Check

For whom: Leadership teams who know "this isn't working anymore" but are still uncertain about where to start making changes.

  • Requirements clarification & key concerns
  • Half-day session for assessment and prioritization with the leadership team
  • Written follow-up with observations and recommendations

Result: You'll know exactly where to focus your efforts and have a solid foundation for decision-making

Structure & Clarity

For whom: Companies with a clear pain point that need quickly noticeable improvement.

  • 3–5 months for concrete relief
  • Kick-off workshop to clarify what's currently blocking progress, where change is needed, and what should be the focus
  • Three co-design workshops for hands-on work on structural and role issues – developed together, immediately applicable
  • Implementation support for targeted follow-through, addressing roadblocks, and day-to-day assistance
  • Retrospective as a joint look back at what's already working and what still needs fine-tuning

Result: One pain point is resolved, leadership feels noticeably relieved

Growing with System

For whom: Start-ups and young companies in growth or transition phases who want to position themselves for the future.

  • 7 to 9 months for sustainable transformation
  • Kick-off workshop to identify blockers and focus areas
  • Diagnostic phase with interviews or workshops for pattern recognition and prioritization
  • Four co-design workshops for collaborative development of sustainable structures and clarity in roles and processes
  • Implementation support for day-to-day transfer and fine-tuning
  • Retrospective as a space for reflection, to acknowledge what's been achieved, and for targeted adjustment

Result: You'll have a sustainable structure, clear roles and decision-making pathways – and teams that work autonomously.
